is another lomo picture from the roll finally came out decent.
someone had sprayed these colors on the side of a truck. kind
of nice.
spend most of the last couple of days playing grand theft auto.
it's still pretty friggin amazing.
- today i'm going to start listing my five favourite canadian
albums. hope you enjoy.
five - broken social scene - you
forgot it in people
pitchfork media says the following:
Broken Social Scene have, and even made it
seem effortless. I wish I could convey to you just how perfectly
this record pulls off that balancing act, how incredibly catchy
and hummable these songs are, despite their refusal to resort
to pandering or oversimplicity. I wish I could convey how they've
made just exactly the kind of pop record that stands the test
of time, and how its ill-advised packaging and shudder-inducing
bandname seem so infinitesimal after immersing yourself in the
music. And I hate to end this saying, "You just have to hear
it for yourself." But oh my god, you do. You just really,
really do.
it took me awhile
to really start to like this album but once i started relizing
where it was coming from i couldn't stop listening to it again
and again. whenever i can't decide what to listen to, i always
put in this cause i know that i will like no matter what when
i hear it again for the hundredth time.
you can hear it here.
