i love the holga so much. i haven't gotten too many great photos from it but the photos that do come out i really love. they look so dated and haphazard. this was taken on centre island during the summer. the other thing that i like about the holga is that it seems like a happy meal toy and not something that could take real pictures. it's entirely made of plastic and feels just like a toy.
ms. polkadot and i went to the trail of dead show on saturday night for some thing to do and it was interesting. the opera house is really weird. i guess that i'm just used to going to a bar where it's a little more low key and non-threatening. there was security everywhere, even in the bathroom. they are also retarded with the stamps. i got one when they checked my id, another when when i entered the place (after being frisked and patted down) and another when i wanted to use the bank machine outside. three stamps?
also went to see napoleon dynamite this weekend for the second time. it's a very funny movie. totally about nerds. while we were at the carlton i saw the poster for dig!, which i've been meaning to see. it's looks so friggin' good. i love documentaries, especially ones about rock and roll. i just recently saw the one that's out now on dvd about brit pop (i forget the title). it had really good and candid interviews with jarvis cocker, damon alburn and lots of others in the scene. very good music too.
