went to the gala of 'ray' last night at roy thomson hall. it was a terrible movie, totally hollywood with bad writing and bad acting except for jamie foxx, who was amazing as ray charles. he was there last night and gave a little speech along with the director. anyways, the experience was awesome and seeing a big gala world premiere is something that i'll never be able to do again, so it was fun.
i also went to the canadian open on saturday with a friend to see my boyhood idol phil mickelson. i had never seen him play in person before cause he only played canada once when i was like thirteen years old. he was cool to watch and he talked lots to the gallery which alot of players don't do. alot of players ignore the fans and don't sign autographs. the only kind of crappy thing was that he wasn't playing well so we didn't get to see many good shots or birdies.
