us open starts thursday which is exciting. but the us open is so hit or miss with me. some years it's absolutely the best tournament of the year (like last year) and other years it's one of the most boring, coma inducing sporting events to watch. the last time it was at pinehurst it was great, so let's hope that phil can finally pull it out.
