saturday ms. polkadot and i watched a documentary about professional scrabble player's. it struck me more as pathetic than anything. people memorizing the dictionary so you can compete in tournaments where you'd be lucky to break even. it didn't even seem like they liked playing scrabble, it was just something that they were good at.
