today i was going to rant about a certain photoblog that is extremely popular and in my opinion very average. it gets lots of local and national exposure, gets nominated for tons of awards and gets fifty comments from people telling him what wonderful photo's he takes. the pictures he takes isn't really my beef cause if the pictures make him happy then whatever, it's not my problem. my problem is with how the site is viewed as the be all and end all of photoblogs. no one looks at it objectively anymore. maybe this is sour grapes cause i find his pictures boring, cliche and repetitive, but the fact that it still gets so much attention is beyond me.
