i've been on a week long search across toronto to find any book by william eggleston. i searched for three solid days in almost every book store i could find. sometimes it felt like i was searching for the holy grail for crying out loud. but yesterday, ms polkadot and i went to the ago bookstore and they had a sealed copy of los alamos in stock. what a terrific, terrific find. i can't believe how beautiful the pictures are. they are absolutely perfect. i love it so much. where do people go to find rare photography books? or photography books in general? i know that there must be a book store in toronto that probably specializes in photography?
so it's been a couple of days and i guess that i should say my piece about what i thought of life aquatic. i think that i was disappointed with it cause it's really just the same as bottle rocket, rushmore, and royal tenenbaums. most of the jokes are the same and the plot is still the same. i just thought that wes anderson would have moved forward as a artist a little.
but it should also be noted that his bad movies are a thousand times better than most films.
